The Department of Anesthesia Technologies at the College of Medical and Health Technologies  , University of Alkafeel organized a scientific lecture on "innate and adaptive immunity" on Sunday, 3/12/2023, lectured by Asst. Lectur.r Zahraa Zair Abbousi and Asst. Lecturer Ghfran Jawad Karim. The lecture aimed to introduce students to the way immunity is acquired and its most important types, while the mechanism of defense against diseases and the contributing cells were clarified, and the role of each in the immune response was explained. The lecture concluded with recommendations that the body possesses defense mechanisms enabling it to eliminate the invading organism, and an intensive study on how to breach immune barriers despite the body's defense mechanisms.
