In a step that reinforces its role in fostering volunteerism and empowering youth, University of Alkafeel participated in the first International University Scout Youth Forum in Iraq. Under the slogan "University Scout Youth and Voluntary Work: Between Empowerment and Potential," the forum was hosted by the Future University for the period from 3 to 7 March 2024, marking it as a pioneering event in Iraq. The forum saw broad participation, including more than 64 governmental and private universities, alongside various Arab countries such as the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Sponsored by His Excellency Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi and organized by the Student Activities Department in the Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Iraqi Scout Association, the forum aimed to enhance cooperation between universities and educational institutions. It also sought to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of volunteer work and youth empowerment to achieve sustainable development.
