On Monday, 2/24/2025, University of Alkafeel received an official delegation , Dr. St. John Simpson, Curator of the British Museum, who expressed his great admiration for the advanced capabilities of the university and the perfect educational environment.
During his first visit to the university, Dr. St. John Simpson expressed his deep admiration for the rapid development in the university, noting that what he saw is a model to be emulated for all of Iraq. He stressed that University of Alkafeel , which was built by Iraqi hands and to serve the Iraqi community, represents a living example of how Iraq could be restored to be a center of civilization again.
In his statements, Dr. St. John Simpson said: "I cannot express how fortunate the students are to be part of a university with such advanced capabilities. If I were a student, I would come to study at University of Alkafeel , as it is the best university I have ever seen.”
Dr. St. John Simpson acclaimed the advanced infrastructure of the university, and stated that the speed of achievement at university of Alkafeel reflects its excellence, mentioning that one of the projects that was completed in just 68 days, which he considered clear evidence of the exceptional capabilities of the university.
The delegation also viewed the university colleges, advanced scientific laboratories , modern classroomsand clean energy and its adoption of the latest technologies and systems in managing the educational process.
The delegation guide , Asst. Prof.Dr. Siddiq Ghani, vice-dean for scientific affairs at College of Medical and health Technologies , University of Alkafeel , conveyed the accolade and admiration of the delegation : the distinctive integration between the scientific and technical aspects that the university seeks to establish to support the educational process.”
