As a strategy for the joint cooperation between University of Alkafeel and Jabir bin Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lect.Dr. Muhammad Zuhair Hassan, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Department at University of Alkafeel , presented a scientific symposium at Jabir bin Hayyan University. The seminar was entitled "Academic Accreditation as a Guarantee for the Quality of Education", and was held on Tuesday 3/4/2025, in the presence of the vice -chancellor for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Hamid Al-Atawi, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Mudhar Abdul-Moneim Al-Haider, the vice-dean for administrative affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Ali Younis and a number of university faculty and staff.

    The seminar addressed the concept of quality in higher education, the approved standards for achieving institutional quality, and reviewing the types of academic accreditation, including institutional, programmatic, and professional accreditation.

   Dr. Muhammad Zuhair Hassan also discussed the importance of academic accreditation in developing educational performance, its objectives, and the necessary steps to obtain it.

    At the end of the seminar, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Jabir bin Hayyan University presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Director of the Quality Assurance Department at University of Alkafeel , Dr. Muhammad Zuhair Hassan, in appreciation of his efforts in presenting this valuable seminar.

   This seminar aims to raise awareness of the need to adhere to quality standards and academic accreditation, to ensure the development of educational outcomes according to international standards, which contributes to raising the level of education at the university.
