University of Alkafeel held the first meeting of the ISO Energy Committee on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Arif Baron. The meeting was attended by committee members : Asst.Prof. Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Jubran, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Department, and hosted by Eng. Hani Abdul Wahid Hani, Director of the Maintenance Division.

      The meeting focused on discussing the ISO-SERE/F0-03 implementation standards, which aim to regulate the operation of generators in the university, contributing to improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions. This contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and ensuring a healthier and more sustainable university environment.

     During the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of implementing environmental quality standards and keeping abreast with the latest developments in sustainable energy management. This contributes to strengthening the role of the university in protecting the environment and reducing its carbon footprint, in line with global move toward achieving environmental sustainability.

    This meeting is part of the ongoing efforts of the university to develop its administrative and technical system in accordance with international standards, enhancing the efficiency of institutional work and supporting its vision of achieving an integrated and sustainable university environment.
