The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Department of Information Technology, held a training lecture as part of the program for educational mentors .

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ali Abdul Zahra Jalil Al-Khaqani, Director of the Information Technology Department, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, under the title "Social Media: Account Security and Privacy."

The lecture addressed important aspects : how to create accounts on social media applications such as Instagram, Telegram, and Facebook, the mechanisms for creating groups and channels and using them to post notifications, with a focus on ways to protect accounts from intrusion or hacking attempts.

The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, including a number of questions and interactive discussions, which gave the session a practical character and contributed to enhancing the participants' skills in using these platforms with awareness and safety.
