It is the policy of the university to set its qualitative steps more practical and to reflect its ambitious academic vision, the University signed a twinning agreement on Sunday, June 29, 2025, between the College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel and the College of Medical and Health Technologies/Kufa at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The agreement aims to consolidate scientific collaboration and exchange expertise and knowledge in the fields of health and medical education.
The agreement includes several mechanisms : most notably, joint scientific research, joint academic supervision of studies, exchanging lecturers between the two parties, convening scientific events and specialized conferences, and mutual field visits to review the scientific laboratories and technologies available at both colleges. Such enhances the quality of the applied education and serves the ambition of the students.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies at Alkafeel University, and his counterpart, Prof.Dr. Angham Al-Ramahi, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies/Kufa at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The ceremony was attended by certain Alkafeel University figures : Asst.Prof.Dr. Amir Al-Athari, Administrative Assistant of the College, and Prof.Dr. Arif Saleh Baron, Head of the Department of Radiology Technology, and by Asst.Prof.Dr. Raad Ajam Sayel, Scientific Assistant/College of Medical and Health Technology, from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University .
Professor Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technology at Al-Kafeel University, emphasized that this step represents the beginning of constructive collaboration between two leading institutions in technical education. It will contribute to reinforcing the quality of scientific research and expanding the horizons of practical and training application, serving both students and society. Then He highlighted the importance of these partnerships in advancing the academic and healthcare landscape in Iraq.
