As part of its ongoing education programs, the Computer Engineering Department at the College of Engineering Technology, University of Alkafeel , held an awareness lecture : “Legal Protection from Harms of  Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Audio and Video Use  as a Model.” The lecture was presented by Instr. Sajjad Hadi Hassan Al-Khaqani and Instr.  Ali Thaban Abbas Al-Shibli on Monday, 17 November  2025.

     The lecture aimed to educate participants about the legal framework related to potential harms of using the artificial intelligence technologies. It highlighted audio and video-based models, clarified the responsibilities of users and developers, and reviewed the most prominent legal protection methods available to mitigate the risks and violations associated with these technologies.

This lecture reflects the commitment of the university to enhancing legal awareness among students and staff and highlighting the challenges posed by modern technologies, particularly the rapidly evolving applications of artificial intelligence, thereby contributing to their responsible and safe use across various fields.
