Lifelong Learning Unit at the College of Pharmacy, University of Alkafeel , organized a workshop: "Ethical Standards for Modern Technologies" on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. The workshop was presented by Asst.Prof. Dr. Salem Fayez Kadhim.

     The workshop aimed to highlight the ethical standards of using modern technologies in scientific research, particularly in light of the rapid advancements in technology such as artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, great data, nanotechnology, and the Internet on medical issues  .

    The workshop will discuss the most prominent ethical challenges of modern technologies, highlighting the importance of adhering to responsible practices that ensure data privacy, participant safety, prevent technology misuse, and promote scientific integrity. It will also address the role of ethical standards in supporting safe and reliable scientific research.
