The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel, in cooperation with the Najaf Health Department, organized a blood donation campaign on Tuesday, 23 December 2025. The campaign was attended by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, university staff, students, and the faculty. Such a campaign aimed to encourage blood donation to save patients, especially children suffering from thalassemia and cancer, and to promote a sense of responsibility and social solidarity among the participants. The event showed widespread participation from students and staff, reflecting the commitment of the university to supporting humanitarian and community initiatives and encouraging students to actively participate in serving the community. The organizers recommended promoting a culture of blood donation in the university and the wider community, supporting patients in need, and encouraging more similar community initiatives.
