As part of University of Alkafeel efforts to enhance the quality of laboratory work and establish occupational safety standards, the Laboratory Quality and Safety Committee conducted a comprehensive inspection of the university college laboratories. The aim was to ensure compliance with Iraqi laboratory quality standards and approved laboratory safety regulations.

    The visit began on Monday, 12 January 2026, and lasted for three days. The first day included the College of Medicine and the College of Engineering. On the second day, the committee visited the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy. The visits were completed on the third day, covering the College of Medical and Health Technologies and the College of Science.

     During its field visits, the committee reviewed the actual conditions of the laboratories by checking each laboratory's files, assessing their readiness levels, and monitoring organizational and logistical procedures. They also completed the forms related to each component of the laboratory quality standards indicators. A number of remarks were recorded, which will contribute to improving performance and developing the work environment within the laboratories.

    The Laboratory Quality and Safety Committee commended the advanced level of the University of Al-Kafeel's laboratories in terms of infrastructure, technical equipment, and teaching staff, affirming that these laboratories are among the best and rival those available in scientifically and culturally advanced countries.

    This visit is part of a regular, approved program to support the quality and accreditation process and ensuring a safe and comprehensive educational and research environment that contributes to raising the academic and scientific standards at the University of Al-Kafeel.
