As part of its ongoing efforts to implement the university plan for the National Initiative to Support Energy and Reduce Emissions, University of Alkafeel  held a periodic meeting of its Awareness Team Committee, organized by the Awareness Team Unit, on Tuesday, 20 January 2026.

      The meeting focused on discussing the evidence and indicators of the university plan, emphasizing the mechanisms for identifying indicators and collecting approved evidence. Such aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions, aligning with the commitment of the university to supporting environmental sustainability.

       Several key outcomes were concluded : monitoring the implementation of the university plan, completing and identifying indicators and collecting evidence of  the National Initiative, and emphasizing the importance of holding periodic meetings to strengthen institutional awareness and support the achievement of sustainable energy and emissions reduction goals.
