The Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel  organized two orientation lectures for first-year dental students on Tuesday, 24 February  2026. The lectures were presented by Asst.Lect. Kawthar Kadhim Awda.

     The first lecture addressed academic regulations, familiarizing students with university guidelines and the importance of adhering to them to ensure a structured learning environment based on respect and discipline. The second lecture focused on self-discipline as a fundamental skill for controlling behavior and emotions, taking responsibility, and managing time effectively to achieve academic success. The two lectures aimed to enhance their awareness of proper university conduct, cultivate personal responsibility, and help them adapt positively to university life, emphasizing the importance of commitment and self-discipline as a foundation for academic and psychological well-being.
