University of Alkafeel Council held its eighth session on Saturday, 7 March  2026, chaired by the University President, Prof.Dr. Nawras Muhammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and attended by the Vice-Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali and the council members. The council discussed several clauses on the agenda : enhancing student participation in scientific and cultural competitions that contribute to developing their cognitive abilities and showcasing their creative potential, and supporting activities that strengthen the university's academic and cultural presence.

     Moreover the university president stressed the importance of encouraging students to read continuously and to consult various books and scientific resources, given its significant role in developing their academic and intellectual levels at all academic stages, particularly the first and second years. The session also addressed the  research plan of the university, giving special importance of supporting and encouraging researchers in the university to produce rigorous scientific research that contributes to enhancing the academic and scientific standing .

      At the conclusion of the session, the council laid stress on the need to implement the key clauses tackled . Such is to ensure the development of the educational process and the advancement of the scientific and research standards of the university .
