As part of the Second Sustainability Week activities and in response to an invitation from the University of Kufa, University of Alkafeel  participated in the flower exhibition held in the University of Kufa gardens on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, and several other academic institutions.

The participation of the university included showcasing a diverse collection of products from its nursery, including seasonal and perennial plants cultivated and cared in the university's nursery. This initiative supports moving  towards environmental sustainability and the enhancement of green spaces.

     Asst.Lect. Ali Abdul Jalil Naji, Head of the Agriculture Division at University of Alkafeel , explained that this participation underscores the university's role in raising environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable agricultural initiatives, and exchanging expertise with other educational institutions. Finally , he expressed his gratitude to the University of Kufa for the kind invitation and excellent organization, wishing for continued cooperation in service of the environment and society.
