The College of Health and Medical Technologies , Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at Al-Kafeel University held a scientific symposium : "Antibiotics and How to Resist Them" in the Seminar Hall on Tuesday 18 April 2023.

    The lecturers , Asst. Lectur. Nour Al-Huda Dakhil and the Asst.Lectur. Ghufran Jawad, raise awareness of the dangers of microbial resistance to antibiotics in the light of the dangerous and wide-ranging spread of viruses and bacteria.

    The symposium also touched on several axes : clarifying the antibiotic and how it developed and the golden age of the antibiotic industry, including the modern antibiotic industry, how bacteria are resistant to antibiotics, the risks of their resistance to antibiotics, and how to reduce and control the risk of resistance.
