The Department of  Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeelheld a mourning session to commemorate the martyrdom of the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), on Tuesday, 24/10/2023. The gathering was attended by the Rector of University of Alkafeel, Prof.Dr. Nawras  Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan. The event began with the recitation of blessed verses from the Holy Quran followed by Sheikh Wissam Sabti from the Holy Quran Institute affiliated with the Holy Al-`Abbas Shrine in Najaf Al-Ashraf. Then, Sheikh Ja'far Al-Waili spoke about the injustices faced by Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) after her father's (peace be upon him) death and her significant role in defending the banner of prophecy and imamate. The session  concluded with poems that narrate her oppression. Commemorating religious occasions is a part of the program set by the university of Alkafeel to revive the martyrdom and the noble births of the Ahlalbayt (peace be upon them).
