The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies held a seminar on drug control on Saturday, 28/10/2023, presented by Ass.Lectur. Zahraa Haider Rida. The seminar clarified the nature of drugs, the concept of addiction, its causes, symptoms of drug addict, and the health and social effects of drugs. The researcher recommended adherence to preventive guidelines, such as consulting a specialist for addiction treatment and choosing the right clinic or rehabilitation center to determine the extent of addiction and the appropriate treatment program.
