As part of its programs to enhance the practical education and communication between students and health institutions, College of Medical and Health Technologies at University of Alkafeel , Department of Anesthesia Technology, organized a scientific activity : “Analysis Available in the Clinical Chemistry Unit in Hospitals and Health Institutions”. The activity was held on Monday, January 21, 2025, and was delivered by Asst. Lect. Ahmed Hamoudi Youssef. The activity aims to introduce students to the laboratory tests available in the Clinical Chemistry Unit and how to perform them and use them to monitor the  health condition of the patient .

The activity included a detailed overview of:

• Duties of Clinical Chemistry Unit.

• Devices used in laboratories and how to operate them.

• Methods of conducting and calculating tests accurately.

• Distinguishing between types of blood samples and methods of drawing them correctly, and the challenges that may face the withdrawal process.

     The recommendations and findings reveal the importance of organizing seminars and workshops in collaboration with health institutions to introduce   the students to modern techniques used in laboratory tests and developing their practical experience. There were great interactions from students and faculty members, as they expressed their interest in repeating such activities that contribute to the development of scientific and practical skills.
