On Wednesday, 1/22/2025, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at University of Alkafeel organized an awareness lecture : "Collecting Laboratory Samples" in the Internal Medicine Laboratory at the College of Medicine.

    The lecture was presented by Asst. Lect. Banin Abdul Hussein Rashid and RA . Israa Zaman Daei, as the lecture addressed the importance of collecting laboratory samples as a basic and decisive step in scientific and diagnostic studies and research. The correct methods for collecting samples were highlighted, and the strict procedures that are to be observed for ensuring that the sample accurately represents reality. The lecturer explained that accuracy in collecting samples contributes greatly to achieving reliable scientific results, whether in research or medical diagnoses. The common risks resulting from poor sample collection were also reviewed, and how to avoid them by adhering to safety and quality standards.

    At the end of the lecture, the lecturers recommended the importance of following the correct procedures when collecting samples, and educating workers and specialists about the need to adhere to accuracy for the safety and accurate scientific results.
There was a positive interaction from the participants, who showed great interest in the information provided, and praised the role of the university in organizing scientific activities that enrich the cognitive and applied aspects of students and the interested people in the medical field.
