As part of the growing interest in mental health and its impact on the quality of daily life, the College of Pharmacy at University of Alkafeel , in cooperation with the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department, organized a scientific lecture : "Phone Call Anxiety," by Asst. Prof.Dr. Yasmine Ali Hussein on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The lecture addressed the phenomenon of anxiety experienced by some individuals when receiving phone calls, explaining its psychological and social causes and its impact on personal and professional performance. Practical strategies for dealing with this anxiety and boosting communication skills with confidence and efficacy were also reviewed, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness of this phenomenon to ensure a healthy and comfortable communication environment for all.
