Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation, in cooperation with the College of Technical Engineering, university of Alkafeel , organized an educational awareness lecture on Saturday, 1 November 2025, "Seriousness and Indifference: Between Balance and Excess," presented by Counsl. Kawthar Allawi Kamil.

     The lecture addressed the concept of seriousness as a value that enhances the spirit of responsibility and commitment, and indifference as a positive feeling that motivates the individual to care about what is worthwhile, emphasizing the importance of finding a balance between them in daily life.

     The counselor cited the ideas of the author Mark Manson in his book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving ” :  the secret to success and happiness lies in choosing what deserves the attention without excess or distraction from their priorities.
