On Wednesday, 19 November 2025, the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel  organized a scientific workshop:  “Assessment,” presented by Prof.Dr. Basim Mohammed Jumaa Al-Khafaji, Professor of Pathology at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.

     During the workshop, Dr. Al-Khafaji stressed the importance of developing the educational process and raising the level of medical assessment methods to align with international standards. He addressed the principles of modern medical education :setting exam questions and designing tests according to standard specifications, as well as the best methods for training professors and enhancing their academic and teaching competence.

    The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for interaction with the attendees, as Dr. Al-Khafaji shared his extensive experience in designing and evaluating medical tests, contributing to raising the quality of education and assessment within the university.
