Under the auspices of the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan, the University of Alkafeel completed all preparations to receive the pilgrims for Imam Hussein's (Peace be upon him) Fortieth on Sunday, 9 September 2022.

Al-Dahan directed the establishment of two processions, one of them on the Najaf / Karbala highway (Column 23) and the second location in Kufa beside the shrine of the Maytham Al-Tamar (peace be upon him), and provided them with all the requirements that ensure the comfort of the honorable pilgrims. 

It is noteworthy that the University continues to provide its services for the tenth year in a row, and the services include providing meals and drinks, accommodation, and halls for men and women, as well as providing health services in the medical detachment, religious information and legal referendum within the Qur’anic project to read the Holy Qur’an, in addition to the Guidance Center for the Lost.
