Alkafeel University, sponsored by the Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Aldahan, held its annual condolence in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan bin Ali Al-Askari (peace be upon him), on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.  Attended by the University Chancellor, the Deans of the Colleges, and a number of the University affiliates.  

   His Eminence Sheikh Jassim Al-Waeli (his success lasted) presented a religious lecture after reciting the Holy Quranic verses by Sayyid Muhannad Al-Mayali, the Director of the Holy Quran Institute at the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Holy Shrine/Najaf branch. 

   The lecturer addressed the role of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Askari (peace be upon him) in consolidating the idea of returning to the religious references to understand the characteristics of Islamic religion and following the previous Imams' approaches in urging their followers to return to the trusted religious references. This was one of the Imam's tasks (peace be upon him) to prepare the nation for the era of Absence. 

   The lecture was aimed to clarify part of Imam Al-Askari's obstacles and tyrants' oppressions in his era, these oppressions came to prevent the birth of the awaited Imam and insisted on killing him earlier if a male child would be born to Imam al-Askari (peace be upon him).
