Under the auspices of the University's Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nawras  Aldahan, the Department of Medical Laboratories at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Alkafeel University held a workshop in the Parasites Laboratory on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Lect. Mohammad R. Al-Sharifi and Asst. Lect. Dr. Zeena K. Al-Zerijawi presented the workshop.

         The workshop started with identifying the methods used in diagnosing intestinal parasites that cause digestive system diseases in the laboratory, explaining the types of intestinal parasites that infect humans, how to take clinical samples from patients, how to collect them, deal with them and preserve them in the laboratory, methods of diagnosing intestinal parasites, as well as diagnosing worms and their eggs that cause diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
