On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the Department of Medical Laboratories at Alkafeel University sponsored a workshop on "Extraction of Essential Oil in a Lab" in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Laboratory at the College of Health and Medical Technologies. The workshop was overseen by the university chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Aldahan.

         Lect. Manar Kareem Fadhil, Lect. Alia Hussein Jameel, and Asst. Lect. Ro’aa Muhammad Jassab presented it. The workshop's purpose was to teach participants how to prepare and extract oils from herbs and medicinal plants. Plants, their varieties, and the most crucial extraction techniques.
