Under the tutelage of University of Alkafeel chancellor , the College of Health and Medical Technologies , Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies sets a scientific symposium on "Blood Clotting Factors" in the genetics laboratory on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 . Both Asst. Lectur. Zainab Khalil Ibrahim and Asst.Lectur. Hijran Abdul Rahim Abdul gave a presentation on  the clotting factors and their role in the blood clotting process . Since there are proteins present in the blood necessary to control bleeding and form blood clots properly. It is of responsibility of the formation of a blood clot whenever there is a wound to prevent the loss of large amounts of blood through the process of the coagulation chain.
