Under the auspices of the Chancellor of University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawras Muhammad Shahid Al-Dahan, the College of Dentistry in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit held a scientific symposium on Saturday, January 7, 2023 : “ Case Report of Oral Cancer” delivered by Lectur.Dr. Muhammad Hassan Abdul Shahid to review a case diagnosed with oral cancer, the importance of early diagnosis of various types of cancer, an introduction to oral cancer, a review of global and national statistics, an explanation of the causes, clinical signs, and treatment methods. Then there was a diagnosed case delineated by the lecturer.

      The event concluded that most dentists should focus on examining the whole mouth, not only the teeth, if there is any ulcer or tumor , s specialized doctor should be consulted for diagnosis and treatment.
