The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Medical and Health Technologies  - University of Alkafeel organized a scientific lecture on "innate and adaptive immunity" on Sunday, 3/12/2023, lectured by Asst. Lecturer Zahraa Zair Abbousi and Asst. Lecturer Ghfran Jawad Karim. The lecture aimed to introduce students to the method of acquiring immunity and its most important types, while the defense mechanism against diseases and the contributing cells were clarified, and the role of each in the immune response was explained. The lecture concluded with recommendations for the body to possess defense mechanisms that enable it to eliminate the invading organism and conduct an intensive study on how to breach immune barriers despite the defense mechanisms the body possesses.
