As part of its training programs to develop the skills of mentoring personnel, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a quality lecture : "Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Humans in Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation ." The lecture was delivered by Asst.Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Kadhim Abu Kalal, vice-dean of the College of Dentistry for administrative affairs, on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

    The lecture addressed the importance of keeping pace with modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in the fields of psychological and educational guidance . He explained that artificial intelligence can be a helpful factor in analyzing data and providing rapid solutions, but it cannot completely replace humans due to the nature of orientation work, which requires a deep understanding of human emotions and behavior.

The event witnessed remarkable interaction from the participants, who expressed their appreciation for the lecturer and its content, which opened new horizons for them in employing modern technologies in orientation work.

This lecture is part of a series of training activities organized by the department to support the staff and reflects the commitment of the university to enhance the professional performance in using contemporary tools and techniques.
