On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the College of Medical and Health Technology at University of Alkafeel organized its fifth student scientific conference. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, vice-rector for academic affairs , and a group of academic figures and faculty members attended the conference.

The conference included the presentation and discussion of a number of distinguished scientific research papers presented by the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology students . These papers reflected their advanced capabilities and growing interest in scientific research, as well as thepositive engagement with contemporary scientific and health issues.

The scientific sessions featured in-depth and rich discussions that contributed to enriching understanding and exchanging experiences between students and their professors, enhancing the quality of the academic environment and fostering a culture of scientific research among students.

In this regard, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadhel Ismail Sharad, praised the importance of the conference and its role in honing the skills of the students and enhancing their research capabilities. He emphasized that holding such events is an essential step in developing the educational process and achieving the academic goals the college seeks to establish.
