University of Alkafeel concluded its participation in the training course on implementing the EFQM (Economic Quality Management) system. The course, held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, lasted from April 12 to 17, 2025, in Erbil Governorate, Kurdistan Region. The university was represented in the course by Asst. Prof.Dr. Siddiq Ghani Joda, vice-dean for scientific affairs at College of Medical and Health Technologies , Asst. Prof.Dr. Abdul Sahib Saad Jubran, director of Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Departmentand Asst. Prof.Dr. Israa Abdul Amir Falih, Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technology at the College of Medical and Health Technologies.

The course was meant to enhance the concepts of institutional performance in Iraqi universities by reviewing the European Model for Excellence (EFQM) and approved international standards, which contributes to raising performance efficiency and achieving quality and academic and administrative excellence in higher education institutions.
