The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel  participated in a specialized workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department/Council for Accreditation of Medical Schools in Iraq. The workshop took place at the College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, on Wednesday and Thursday, 24-25 September 2025.

    The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of the national accreditation team in the field of program accreditation, contributing to improving performance and raising the efficiency of applying accreditation standards in Iraqi medical schools.

    University of Alkafeel  was represented at the workshop by: Asst .Prof.Dr Dr. Fatima Karim Khalaf, vice-dean for academic affairs at the College of Medicine; Lect. Dr. Mohammed Jaafar Al-Ansari, vice-dean for administrative affairs at the College of Medicine; and Prof. Dr. Hilal Al-Saffar, Advisor to the President of University of Alkafeel  for Medical Education and Secretary of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical colleges .  He emphasized the importance of such events in enhancing the position of Iraqi universities and developing their academic programs to meet international standards.
