As part of its efforts to develop the creative and artistic capabilities of its students and personnel and to foster a sense of belonging, University of Alkafeel announces the launch of the "My University with Lens of Mine " Competition– the fourth edition for the academic year (2025-2026). This competition is part of the student and media activities, and is implemented in cooperation with the Department of Information Technology and Computer Science.
The competition will feature short clips (Reels) filmed using a mobile phone or professional camera (with prior approval from the relevant university authority). The clip must not exceed 90 seconds in length.
???? Participation Conditions:
1- The Reels is to be filmed exclusively using a mobile phone and not to exceed 90 seconds long . If a professional camera is used, prior approval from the university is required.
2- Participation is open to all students and University of Alkafeel personnel , as well as those interested in the university.
3. Students' faces, especially female students, are prohibited from being shown. The video is to focus on the university spaces , buildings, scenes of sustainability, green spaces, solar energy, and birds. The video is also to convey a purposeful theme : positive message about the university.
4. Participants are to send their video on their official accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), referencing the university official pages and adding the hashtags:

Then send the post links via the designated link for receiving entries.
5. Entries must be submitted exclusively via the following link: (https://forms.gle/6tBGsBM5xLkuT5cU9).
6. Each participant may submit only one video; duplicate entries will be disqualified.
7. The video is to be produced by the participant themselves, while committing to using music and elements free of intellectual property rights and refraining from using any music that is inappropriate or violates Islamic and university values.
8. It is preferable for the video to be in high definition (HD) with clear sound and image.
9- Content is to be appropriate for all ages and free of any offense or violation of university laws or values.
10- The competition will start from 1 October 2025 to 20 October 2025.
11- A specialized jury will review the entries and select three winners based on criteria such as creativity, quality of photography, adherence to the theme, and innovation in presenting university scenes.
12- The committee has the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the conditions or is proven to violate the laws or instructions of the competition.
13- All submitted materials—whether filmed by phone or camera—will be subject to review by the Media Department. The department reserves the right to retain copies of the clips for documentation and publication purposes, and may exclude any material that does not comply with the conditions or university values.
14- Participants are encouraged to highlight the positive aspects of the university, reflecting a learning environment that encourages creativity.
15. The Monetary Awards will be as follows:
• First Award : 1,000,000 Iraqi dinars
• Second Award: 750,000 Iraqi dinars
• Third Award : 500,000 Iraqi dinars
16. The names of the winners will be announced on the official website of the university .
